The Staff Selection Commission is going to start the examination procedure for recruiting the prospective candidates in the year 2021. Although the notification has been published already on the website www.ssc.nic.in . SSC CHSL is conducted every year for the posts of- lower division clerk, postal assistance, junior secretariat assistant, data entry operator and sorting assistance. CHSL stands for Combined Higher Secondary Level.

Apart from the above pattern, there are also some alterations in the new pattern that students should a note of:

  • Descriptive test of 100 marks. It would be a pen paper based test and time allotted for the same is 60 minutes.
  • The time limit for tier-1 tests has also been reduced to 60 minutes from 75 minutes (earlier).
  • There is no sectional cut off
  • There is no change in tier-3.
